I've spent most of today sorting through all the junk, I mean craft stuff in my room today. It's taken me ages and ages! I've found a whole load of things I'd forgotten I had - ribbons, trims, fabrics, soap base, card making things, and so on. I used to have one of those cupboards where you open it and something falls on top of you. Now it's clear and I've got rid of all the rubbish I had been hoarding. I also got Tim to put up this coat hook that we rescued from his gran and grandad's house. I can now keep all of my knitting and wool in these rather than hanging on the end of the bed.

[wallpapers, bags, hangers]I also found a UFO (unfinished object) in my cupboard - I started to make a quilt a long time ago. It was a long thin piece so I thought it would be ideal to make into a cushion. I am thrilled to bits with the results. I added some elastic and a pretty daily button to fasten the cushion.
I thought I'd show you some pictures of my little room now that it is resembling a room rather than a dumping ground!
This is where we keep all of our books, apart from a few that are on the dresser. As you can see we have a LOT of books. Most of the paper back books I give to charity but I have a lot of cookery, craft and house type books and also a few signed ones.
This is where I do all my sewing. :-)
