Cristiano Ronaldo faces police probe after Ferrari crash

Footballer likely to have routine talk with officers

Cristiano Ronaldo may be questioned by police after crashing his Ferrari in a tunnel last Thursday.

The football hunk wrote off his £200,000 car when he hit a roadside barrier near Manchester Airport.

Police spoke to Cristiano, 23, at the scene, where he provided a negative breath test.
And the star, who escaped unhurt, is likely be asked to talk to officers again as part of routine inquiries.
It has been reported that footage from dozens of CCTV cameras will be examined by cops investigating the smash.

The tunnel is said to be equipped with cameras because it runs below Manchester Airport's runway, and is considered vulnerable to terrorist attacks.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo has apparently dumped his married girlfriend Olena Hayes after just eight dates.
