The decs are down, the work shirts are ironed, petrol bought, cold almost gone so it's back to the drudgery of the working week! I feel better somehow now that the constant game playing (Xbox and DS) is over and that we are back to normality. It has kind of mentally prepared me for going back. I hate this feeling though, it's like the feeling you get when you come back from holiday - that everything is somehow worse or more dreary than it was before.
Anyway, it's not all doom and gloom - I have a few things to cheer me up and look forward to in 2009 that I thought I'd share with you.
My acting course starts in 2 week's time and I hope to start hypnotherapy soon for confidence and weight loss (well, healthy eating). I also just heard today from Tim that we will be going to Marcus Wareing's restaurant in Knightsbridge for the tasting menu at the end of the month. I'm so excited, I know it's quite extravagant but we probably go out for a meal once a year and neither of us drink so good food is the biggest treat in our household.

I've been stuck indoors with a horrible cold now for the last week so I have watched DVD after DVD. Tim got me some really thoughtful presents this year. He knows I love sci-fi things (bit of a geek like that!) and that I liked Buffy so he bought me the complete DVD set of Joss Whedon's (Buffy creator) 'Firefly' and I just loved it! So I have now watched the complete boxset of 'Darling Buds of May' and 'Firefly'. I feel like I have square eyes!
