Last night at about 11.30 I decided to take up knitting. I used to be able to knit really well when I was about 5 but I had just completely forgotten how to do it. I bought some knitting needles and a whole load of wool from Lidl a while ago but realised that I had forgotten how to cast on so they haven't seen the light of day for over a year! I was going to get a 'knitting for dummies' type book but I find it virtually impossible to learn how to do things through reading and looking at pictures. I find it much easier to have someone show me or to watch a video. So, at 11.30 last night I had a brain wave and I found this fabulous video.
I'm not really sure what 'm knitting just yet. Maybe a scarf for a dwarf?
