Christmas workshop sneak preview

So, this Saturday is the Christmas workshop. No one has said they are coming yet. I've had lots of 'This is a lovely idea, but I'm afraid I'm busy that weekend'. I'm secretly pleased because I wouldn't want to be inundated with people. I'm going to make and package up some fudge tomorrow, mince pies and possibly marsh mallow. Annoyingly I don't have any transport this week to go out and get ingredients because my car had to go in for its MOT and service. I just got a call from the garage, they want £800 for new tyres and a service! I am not best pleased and have been negotiating with them all afternoon! As if I didn't have enough to be getting on with, like house work that I was just about to do!

These gifts (above and below) are a great idea if you are strapped for cash (aren't we all at the moment?!) but still want to give someone something special. For the one pictured above, I have simply bought an economy packet of mixed mints from Asda for less than £1 and put them in a jar (a clear stoarge jar would be fine or an old large [3/4 litre/750 ml] jam jar would do just as well). For below, I have done the same but with Jammy Dodgers because I think they look so pretty.
I showed you the vintage gift sets yesterday, well these ones contain chocolate flavoured bath bombs made from coco butter.
Here are the gift sets all wrapped up in cellophane and vintage lace.

I will show you a sneak preview of my other gift ideas tomorrow.
