I really did hit breaking point this week (crying whilst giving presentation!) so I decided to take a last minute day off for the sake of my sanity! Am I the only one who feels this way or is this normal?!
Lovely day relaxing
I have had a lovely day relaxing today, making a delicious dinner and pottering about the house. I have had one hell of a week and it's really got me thinking about things. Surely life is too short for all this stress?! I've decided to do some courses and I'm hoping to get on a City and Guild's Interior Design course because it's something I love doing and I do think I have a flair for co-ordinating things and bringing looks together, if I do say so myself.
Just to put my week in perspective, I had to write a business pitch (think Dragon's den) go on a presentations skills training course for 2 days where they filmed us and you also had to give the presentation about 6 times (I hate giving presentations especially in front of my peers). I also had to try and get my head around what's going on in my normal job while I'm off doing all these extra activities. I don't think I get paid enough for it and I've been losing sleep over it, and that's when you know you're not happy!
