Bathroom finished...phew!

I've just finished the bathroom makeover. I hope you like it. I spent 2 hours yesterday wallpapering and putting up the new border on my own - picture me trying to hang 10 ft of border one foot on the ladder and one on the bath - and you'll go someway in imagining how difficult it was! I've spent this morning making the shower curtian and the new blind - I decided against using the grey table cloths, they won't go to waste as I've put them somewhere else but I had enough of that lovely CK blue gingham floral fabric so I used that instead. It's like a roman blind but without the wood. The mirror was given to me by my mum, it's an old overmantel mirror that had a gold frame. I washed some LA French Grey (a cheap tester pot) on the frame so that you can still see the gold through it.

I've done well this week on freecycle and ebay. I've managed to get 2 antique chairs with drop in seats - I'm going to paint them and then put some nice CK fabric on the seats. I'll be keeping one as a bedroom chair and selling the other. I also just picked up an antique-style brass office lamp which will go perfectly on the new desk (or rather table) I have bought OH on ebay for £45.
