I've been tagged and some photos

I've been tagged by the lovely
MelMel and Up the garden path The rules of this challenge are very simple; here they are:

1. Link the person(s) who tagged you - done
2. Mention the rules on your blog - check
3. Tell about 6 unspectacular quirks of yours - check
4. Tag 6 following bloggers by linking them. Leave a comment on each of the tagged blogger’s blogs letting them know they’ve been tagged. - here goes! - I'll do this when I have time! :-)

1. I absolutely detest bananas with every fibre in my body! It's not just the way they taste but the texture, the look, the smell. Urrrrg, even the though of bananas makes me heave! People may think I'm bonkers but I like to remind them that I am just being 'eco friendly' and prefer to not have my food come from 10 thousand miles away! Give me a lovely English strawberry or a cox's apple any day! LOL

2. I used to knit very well when I was a child of about 5 years old but I have completely forgotten how to do it now and want to start to learn again.

3. The more people annoy me and tell me I can't do things the more determined I am to prove people wrong: case in point, my dad telling me I was off my rocker for wanting to do a tandem. Cue skydiving license a month later! :-)

4. I don't drink or smoke, and would much rather spend a night in watching a good film then go out.

5. I would love to study medicine or veterinary science - if I won the lottery I'd be off in a shot applying! I feel as if I somehow settled for second best studying biochemistry but in reality I don't think I would have got through the course, I know so much more now than I did then.

6. I hate quilting, I admire other people for doing it but I find it difficult to motivate myself when a project can't be finished in a few days.

So there you have it! I am incredibly dull! LOL

Above is a picture of Rosie, she looks so cute when she's cleaning!

Do you remember that shelf I painted in May on that French Furniture painting course I went on at Les Tuileries in Dorking? Well I've finally found a place for it in the sitting room. The enamel jug was a present from our old next-door neighbour.

And finally, as promised, here is a picture of my 5-minute makeover - the bedside cabinet.

Now, so many people have been tagged and awarded lately, many of whom are my favourite bloggers so I would rather not nominate and leave it up to the people that read my blog. I really do appreciate all your lovely comments and words of encouragement. It really spurs me on to get things done! :-)
