(picture of Worthing beach in the 1930s)...All of my extravangant spending has got me thinking, even though since we moved my bank account has been stuck on £0 or minus 4 digit number, I am VERY lucky that I have a good enough job that I know it will rite itself eventually and I'll get back on my feet. I was sooo lucky to get my dream house at so young and I am grateful for that every day!
Anyway, I was reading through Heather's blog Biker boots and chicken feet, in particular a post about how she had missed out on her dream house and I thought wouldn't it be nice if I could just make her day with a small gesture?! Anyway, I am going to pop something nice in the post for her to help cheer her up a bit - something that I am sure she will like - a random act of kindness if you will!
You can also do the same for another fellow blogger, it could be a charity shop find that you know the blogger will like, something you've made, no matter how small it's the thought that counts afterall!

I also bought an amazing picnic basket with the Cath Kidston fabric lining for a mere £5 and a lovely cup and saucer for £1.25 all from a Charity shop in Worthing.

Keep smiling! :-)
Hehehe, it seems I have inadvertently made someone's day...me being a wally I posted the winnings to Sarah at Miss Sew and Sew instead of dear old Ethel. I'm really pleased though because I would have been absolutely thrilled if a random parcel turned up, it must have been like xmas. Fortunately I have soooo many bags, lavender hearts and teddies that I have prepared another parcel for Ethel! x
