I'm on a mission to save money and stop being so rubbish with my finances. It occurred to me today that I have only had 2 weeks wages for the past 8 weeks what with changing jobs and I really ought to have been saving rather than spending like a crazy woman! I think it will be beans on toast for lunch and dinner for the next week until I get paid! I'm debating whether to sell my car and get an old fiesta or something and try and clear some of my debt. Money seems to come in and go straight back out again, and unless I get a huge pay rise (unlikely given that I have only been in my new job 6 weeks!), get a part time job (I think I would be exhausted!) or start cutting back (the sensible option methinks!) I can see myself getting stuck in a rut!
Anyway, to cheer myself along I have set up a savings tally on my blog so that I can see how good/rubbish I'm being!
