It's a Land Rover Defender one of my favourite cars (yes I am nuts about cars!)! I love all the British classics like MGs, Landies and Minis. We went to see it and thought it was much better than some of the other ones we test drove. We'll be picking it up on Tuesday night, I'm so excited! :-) The other half wants to off road it and to be honest I'm just excited about the prospect of actually being able to buy furniture and not have to go through the rigmarole of trying to get it delivered (9 times out of 10 things never seem to turn up and when they do they are rarely in one piece!).We've just got back from dinner at Mr's gran up in London - lovely Basque chicken! His Grandmother is the most amazing cook and is a master cake decorator. She just showed us a picture of this wonderful wedding cake she made with roses, lillies and ivy trailing down the tiers. The flowers she makes look like the real thing - I have never seen anything as accomplished and she doesn't charge a penny to make these cakes, it's criminal really! It puts it in perspective when you she these expensive wedding cakes with cabbages that are supposed to be roses on them, and most of them are sponge too. Anyway, when I have more time I will show you some pictures because they really are spectacular. I should think if you wanted to pay for a cake with the same amount of work gone into it it would probably set you back about £1500!
