The singer and guitarist for the Barenaked Ladies has been arrested on drug charges in upstate New York.Police say Stephen Page was arrested for fourth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on Friday near Syracuse.
The report states the arrest occurred at about 2 a.m. when authorities spotted a suspicious vehicle with it's driver side door open. Police say they found Page and two women, along with cocaine and marijuana, in a nearby apartment.
The singer was released after paying $10,000 bail, and is due back in court Thursday. Barenaked Ladies' manager Terry McBride confirmed the report, but declined further comment.
