More postcards and painting

I painted some more frames, this time a lovely sage green. I highly recommend B&Q's one coat satin it dries really quickly, is water based and has turned out a nice chalky shade. It's very shabby chic and half the price of Laura Ashley paint!

I bought a stack of postcards on ebay they are fascinating! They all date around the time of the coronation of King George V, in fact one of the postcards talks about the coronation and there's also a coronation postcard! There's even a postcard sent from New York, one of Brighton pier and some from Germany. They are all addressed to the same young girl who collects postcards and most of them seem to come from a chap named Brendon. It's just fascinating reading them.

Anyway, I also bought some 1950s postcards so I'll frame those tomorrow and take some pictures.
