I bought a copy of my absolute favourite magazine today - Country Homes and Interiors. I love the magazine because it's full of proper 'country homes', sweet little cottages and floral interiors; nothing too fussy just traditional, which is just my taste! Anyway, we will eventually be re-doing our bathroom again (it was only a year since we refitted the bathroom in our old house!). I was so taken with the bathroom in our last house that I was going to recreate it here but actually I have changed my mind after reading through the magazine. I've found the perfect bathroom! It is a similar colour to our last bathroom - Farrow & Ball's Harbour Grey - but the main difference is that they have an ordinary bath rather than a roll top. I love roll top baths, but they are very expensive. I think we should be able to save ourselves lots of money by more or less replacing the hideous peach suite with a nice white victorian suite with lovely wood panelling rather than tiles. I can't wait to start planning it. Last time I made a book with all the things I was going to buy and the colours so we managed to complete the bathroom within a week.
Sorry about the web cam pic again. We have the very same window (even with the same latch) but our toilet would be where their bath is and the bath would run along the wall on the right hand side of the picture where their sink is.
