Toni Braxton was hospitalized due to chest pains and had to cancel her Las Vegas show on Monday night. She checked into a Las Vegas hospital and was released after undergoing several tests.
The cause of the pains were unknown, but the 40 year-old Grammy winner has been previously treated for pericarditis (a viral heart infection).
The Flamingo hotel-casino offered refunds for the cancelled act, and the President of the hotel issued the following statement:
“We wish Toni a quick recovery and would like her to take the time she needs to regain optimal health. We are looking forward to her return at the end of the week.”
