Working in the garden....

We've done even more work recently, not so much in the house but in the garden. The front posts have been rebuilt, the garden's being tidied - the next job is to paint the front door blue and to re-paint the railings. The back garden still needs a bit of work. I'm thinking about going down to Champions and seeing how much it will cost to buy all the bits and pieces to do our fence out the back. We were quoted £900, but I don't have that kind of money at the moment so I'll have to see how much it'll cost to do it ourselves....

The stairs are painted now, just waiting for the carpet to be fitted - I originally ordered a nice black patterned carpet from the Brintons range, but I changed my mind. There was going to be a delay in the order and we want to get the house sorted out asap anyway so we've now ordered a plain carpet in a pear colour. It's half the price of the brintons one too which is a bonus at the moment as I'm trying to save money!
