Tim (very much the chef in our house) has been trying out the pasta maker attachment for the KitchenAid and I have to say it is brilliant!
You mix the pasta (ordinary plain flour, egg and salt) in the mixer (takes a minute), then you connect the pasta roller, roll the pasta (machine does it for you) then flour and cut the pasta (choice of spaghetti or taggliatelle) using the cutter (separate attachment). The whole process takes less than 10 minutes and tastes delicious.
