The shooting of this movie is going on in full swing. There was a buzz in the film industry that the lady rejected several offers to be a part of this off beat film, which is directed by Shyam Prasad.
The actress later spoke about rejecting big offers in Telugu films. She clarifies that her reasons for doing so were purely because she had allotted more dates to a Kannada films(Super/Upendra). On being asked about Bollywood, she states “I am well-established and respected in southern cinema. I don’t feel the necessity to move to Bollywood. Maybe, I would have considered doing it, if I had got an offer, during my initial years. But now after attaining stardom here, I don’t want to be treated as a newcomer in Bollywood"
Now, the grapevine has it that Prakash Raj has been signed up to play her dad in the film. The actor, it is well-known in Kollywood, is a close friend of Nayan, and stands by her during trying situations the actress had been facing of late.
And Manisha Koirala, the Nepalese beauty will be Nayan’s mom and Prakash’s pair in Electra.
